Dinner is 22h (10pm) which is fine and expected, but you have access to almost nothing between the hours of 14h-19h (2-7pm). It’s something like a ghost town for hours. On WhatsApp video chat my grandmother tells me that things used to be that way where she grew up when she was young, but obviously not anymore (with a chuckle). I’ll tell ya what, it doesn’t seem so obvious to the folks of Lugo, Galicia. They will look at you aghast if you order a vermouth at the wrong hour. Even if old men drink wine at the bars first thing in the morning on a weekday. They must know something I don’t.
